Australia’s largest medieval festival held in winter each year. Jousting, knightly combats, fair ladies, archery, dancing and music.

Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Multicultural Affairs (DATSIMA)

DATSIMA is the State Government body which deals with Aboriginal Cultural Heritage.  They hold a register of Queensland Aboriginal heritage sites.  If you are planning a new development, you can download a search request form to find if there are any registered sites in the area.  Turnstone Archaeology encourages people to register any cultural heritage sites with DATSIMA.
