Experience
Clinton has worked with Turnstone since March 2019. During this period, he has worked on numerous cultural heritage programs with Barada Kabalbara Yetimarala (BKY) People. Clinton’s involvement with BKY’s cultural heritage programs includes desktop research, legislative and Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP) compliance, cultural and heritage mitigation, GIS mapping, and co-authoring reports.
Recent Keynote Projects
2019-2020 Barada Kabalbara Yetimarala (BKY) People
BKY and Turnstone Archaeology undertook several cultural heritage surveys with Capcoal (Anglo American) on the following work programs.
- Aboriginal cultural heritage survey, mitigation, and reporting of a 12km Powerline Easement followed with the monitoring and reporting of Capcoal relocating of Gumby Gumby Trees Pittosporum angustifolium.
- Aboriginal cultural heritage survey, mitigation and reporting at the location of Grasstree’s Oak Park 2D Seismic program where Capcoal plans to gather data/information on the location and structure of coal seams.
- Aboriginal cultural heritage survey, mitigation, and reporting at the location of Aquila’s X5 Exploration Drill program where Capcoal plans to gather data/information on the geology within the project area.
- Aboriginal cultural heritage survey, mitigation, and reporting at the location of Aquila’s Exploration Drill program where Capcoal plans to gather data/information on the geology within the project area.
- Aboriginal cultural heritage survey, mitigation, and reporting at the location of Grasstree’s 37km Aquila 3D Seismic program where Capcoal plans to gather data/information on coal seam structures.
